Actor Udo Kier Passes Away at 82

Berlin: German actor Udo Kier, a well-known figure in Hollywood and European cinema who starred in more than 270 films, has died at the age of 82, said actor Delbert McBride, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Kier played his first notable role in the 1970 Austrian horror film “The Devil’s Seal”. He gained further recognition with films like “Body of Frankenstein” (1973) and “Blood for Dracula” (1974), collaborating with artist Andy Warhol.

After his role in the cult film “My Own Private Idaho” (1991), Kier was frequently cast in big-budget Hollywood films. His last film was the thriller “The Secret Agent” in 2025.
