Baku: Approximately 12.7 billion cubic meters of gas have been produced from the ‘Umid’ gas-condensate field located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea as of November 1, 2025, APA-Economics reports, citing the Ministry of Energy.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, 1.9 million tons of gas condensate have been extracted from the field during the reporting period. The average daily production from the field amounted to nearly 7 million cubic meters of gas and 0.8 thousand tons of condensate.
The report highlights that it has been 15 years since the discovery of the ‘Umid’ field, which is notable for being the first gas-condensate field discovered in Azerbaijan during the period of independence.
