Baku: US actress Diane Keaton has died in California at the age of 79, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the cause of death has not been disclosed. Keaton was born in Los Angeles in 1946 and made her film debut in the comedy “Lovers and Other Strangers” in 1970.
She rose to fame after starring in Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather” in 1972 and gained further recognition for her roles in Woody Allen’s “Love and Death” in 1975 and “Annie Hall” in 1977. Throughout her career, Keaton won several prestigious awards, including Oscars, Golden Globes, and BAFTAs.
