Ankara: First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, visited Turkey at the invitation of Army General Sel§uk Bayraktaroglu, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey, to participate in the Distinguished Visitors Day of the “Ates Serbest-2025” exercise.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Colonel General Karim Valiyev met with his Turkish counterpart in Ankara. The discussions centered on military cooperation between the two countries.

During his visit, the Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army also participated in the Distinguished Visitors Day of the “Ates Serbest-2025” exercise.
