Yekaterinburg: ‘The forensic report conducted in Azerbaijan does not match the one presented by the Russian side,’ said Adalat Hasanov, Director General of the Forensic Medical Examination and Anatomical Pathology Union under the Ministry of Health, while announcing the results of the new forensic examination of the bodies of the brothers killed in Yekaterinburg, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani forensic examination revealed significant discrepancies between the findings in Azerbaijan and those presented by Russian authorities. Hasanov detailed the injuries found on the bodies, including hemorrhages on the conjunctiva of both eyes, bruises on the chest, and asymmetry of the chest upon palpation. Additional injuries such as bruised abrasions on the right lateral abdomen and hip, and red and bluish bruises in the scrotum were noted as contributing to the cause of death.

Hasanov explained that internal examinations confirmed the initial findings, with hemorrhages in the brain and head, compression of the chest, multiple displaced rib fractures, and widespread hemorrhages in soft tissues. These injuries resulted in severe post-traumatic shock, leading to death. The report also mentioned a displaced fracture of the nasal bones, deformation of the chest, and various bruises and abrasions on the body.

The Azerbaijani forensic team conducted a thorough internal examination, uncovering extensive hemorrhages on the inner surface of the scalp and other significant injuries. Hasanov emphasized the importance of these findings, which highlight the discrepancies between the Azerbaijani and Russian forensic reports on the incident.
