Baku: ‘Economic growth in Azerbaijan will continue at a slow pace, while inflation will remain under control,’ the Asian Development Bank (ADB) said in its updated forecast, APA-Economics reports.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, it was noted that inflation in Azerbaijan is expected to remain under control in the near term. The Bank reports that price increases in the country remain limited due to prudent macroeconomic policies and the relative stability of commodity prices.
ADB’s assessment indicates that economic growth in Azerbaijan will continue at a slower pace in 2025. This is mainly explained by existing structural challenges in the energy sector. Nevertheless, it is emphasized that macroeconomic stability in the country is being maintained and inflation risks remain manageable.
