Baku: Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, recently met with a delegation led by Rachel Thompson, Executive Director on the Board of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) who represents the country, APA reports. The meeting centered on the challenges confronting the global economy, Azerbaijan’s economic situation, and its development trends.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, discussions also addressed monetary policy, enhancement of the regulatory and supervisory framework for the insurance sector, and the sector’s potential. The dialogue provided an opportunity for both parties to explore future partnership opportunities, with particular attention given to ADB’s potential involvement in Azerbaijan’s financial sector.
