17th Uzeyir Hajibeyli International Music Festival Kicks Off in Azerbaijan

Baku: The 17th International Music Festival honoring the renowned composer and pioneer of Azerbaijani professional music, Uzeyir Hajibeyli, is set to commence in Azerbaijan on September 18th, according to the Press Service of the Ministry of Culture reported by APA. The festival will run until September 28 and features a range of cultural activities across multiple cities.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event is organized collaboratively by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, with additional support from the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation, and ICESCO. The festival will include concerts, performances, exhibitions, scientific symposiums, and master classes in cities like Baku, Sumgayit, Shusha, Ganja, Agjabadi, Nakhchivan, and Gazakh.

The festival will not only showcase Azerbaijani musicians but will also feature performances from notable artists and musicologists from countries such as Turkiye, the USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Korea.
