ADEX 2026 Breaks New Ground with Debut of Pavilion 5 at Baku Expo Center

Baku: ADEX, the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition, is set to make history by opening Pavilion 5 at the Baku Expo Center for the first time. The exhibition, which runs from 30 September to 2 October, is a hallmark event in the global defense industry and the largest of its kind in the Caucasus region, serving as a crucial platform for military-technical cooperation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, ADEX is organized with the initiative and support of the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the Caspian Event Organisers at the helm. The exhibition's expansion to Pavilion 5 marks a significant milestone, indicating ADEX's growing prominence and the increasing interest it garners from the international defense community.

Participation in ADEX 2026 is set to reach new heights, with over 200 companies from more than 20 countries already confirming their attendance. Notable first-time participants include prestigious US defense companies SIG SAUER and Lockheed Martin. The United Kingdom and Germany are also making their debut at the exhibition, with Germany represented by Rheinmetall. This growth underlines the expanding international reach of ADEX and its network of distinguished partners.

Traditional exhibitors such as Turkey's ROKETSAN, ASELSAN Elektronik San. ve Tic. A.S., Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), and many others continue to support ADEX. Several countries, including Belarus, the Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey, and Slovakia, will showcase their technological prowess through national pavilions.

A key focus for ADEX 2026 is showcasing Azerbaijan's defense industry capabilities to an international audience. Pavilion 4 will be dedicated to Azerbaijan's national exhibition, featuring entities such as the Ministry of Defense Industry, Azercosmos, and various other national defense and technology companies. This initiative highlights the strength and technological innovation within Azerbaijan's defense sector.

The exhibition is not only attracting a wide array of companies but also official delegations from 26 countries, providing numerous opportunities for bilateral meetings and discussions on defense cooperation. ADEX 2026 will cover a broad spectrum of defense industry sectors, emphasizing its role as a comprehensive platform for technological advancement.

Running concurrently with ADEX 2026 is the 15th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment, Securex Caspian. This event will also expand significantly, with a focus on cybersecurity, showcasing innovative solutions and advanced approaches.

Both ADEX and Securex Caspian will offer a robust business program featuring discussions on strategy, innovation, and technology. Highlights include the presentation of the start-up project 'National Military-Industrial Complex of the Future', continuing ADEX's tradition of supporting innovative initiatives.
