Baku:Persons adopted by individuals with Internally Displaced Person (IDP) status after the occupation of their districts will be granted IDP status and an identification card confirming this status.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, this provision comes as part of an amendment to the "Rules for Granting Internally Displaced Person Status and Issuing Identification Cards Confirming Such Status to Internally Displaced Persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan." The amendment was introduced by a decision from the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
