Baku: Rovshan Najaf, President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), met with Syed Mohsen Gilani, President of the Football Federation of Pakistan (PFF), to explore avenues for cooperation between the two football bodies. The discussions centered on strengthening the relationship between AFFA and PFF, with a shared vision to advance football development in both countries.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting highlighted several key areas of collaboration. These included the development of youth football, sharing expertise at the national team level, organizing joint training camps, and training referees. Both officials expressed optimism that these initiatives would foster a stronger football culture and improve the overall standards of the sport in Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
