AGHDAM: Birlik Deri LLC, supported by Turkish capital, has officially joined the Aghdam Industrial Park as its newest resident, bringing the total number of residents to 28. This development is under the supervision of the Agency for Development of Economic Zones, as reported by Trend via the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
According to Trend News Agency, Birlik Deri LLC is poised to launch a project dedicated to the production of leather goods within the industrial park. This initiative is anticipated to generate over 250 new job opportunities and will involve an investment of 20.8 million manat ($12.2 million). The products manufactured at the facility will utilize advanced technologies from Italy, Trkiye, and South Korea, and are set to be distributed both locally and internationally.
The Aghdam Industrial Park currently hosts a total of 28 business entities, which have collectively invested 260 million manat ($152.9 million) and have been granted resident status. Additionally, four entities have obta
ined non-resident status. Altogether, these 32 business entities are projected to create approximately 2,300 jobs in the industrial park.
To date, residents have invested around 92 million manat ($54.1 million) in the industrial park, leading to the creation of more than 370 jobs.
