Baku: An agrarian information and advisory system will be established in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports. This initiative is part of the 'State Program for 2026-2030 on the development of production and processing sectors of agricultural, fisheries and aquaculture products in the Republic of Azerbaijan.'
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the program outlines the development of an institutional model for the agrarian information and advisory system, scheduled to be implemented between 2027 and 2030. Plans include forming a relevant regulatory and legal framework, establishing an institutional structure, and preparing a concept document and action plan to guide the efforts in this sector.
The program also focuses on identifying opportunities for digitalizing information and advisory services and creating a nationwide network to support these services. By implementing these measures, Azerbaijan aims to enhance the efficiency and productivity of its agricultural, fisheries, and aquaculture sectors.
