Baku:The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is set to work closely with Azerbaijan as it prepares to host the 2027 Annual Meeting. AIIB President Zou Jiayi expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Zou Jiayi highlighted Azerbaijan's role as a Founding Member of AIIB and commended the country for being a steadfast and valued partner in advancing the Bank's mission.

The decision for Baku to host the 12th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors on July 14-15, 2027, was made during AIIB's 11th Annual Meeting in Doha, Qatar.
