Al-Qaeda unveiled new leader

Saif al-Adel is now the de-facto leader of terrorist organization Al-Qaeda, APA reports citing 1TV channel of Afghanistan.

He is from Egypt, 62 years old and may now be in Iran

Adel was long considered to be a likely candidate to replace Ayman al-Jawahiri, the former leader of Al-Qaeda who was killed in US strike last year.
