Ali Naghiyev Stresses Importance of Resolving Missing Persons Cases for Peace

Baku:Chief of Azerbaijan's State Security Service, Colonel General Ali Naghiyev, emphasized the significance of addressing the issue of missing persons as a crucial factor for achieving sustainable peace. He made this statement at the Fourth International Conference held in Azerbaijan as part of the Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Naghiyev highlighted the importance of combining the experiences of various states and international organizations to address this issue. He pointed out that since 1988, Armenia's occupation policy has resulted in severe consequences for the Azerbaijani people. Despite the end of the war, families of missing persons continue to await news of their loved ones.
