Aliyev Points to Rising Trade Volumes as a Marker of Russian-Azerbaijani Cooperation Potential

Baku – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the increasing trade volumes between Azerbaijan and Russia as indicative of their strong potential for cooperation.

According to the Azerbaijan Press Agency (APA), during a press briefing with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Aliyev noted the significant growth in trade, surpassing $4 billion last year. “The increase in trade volume, both last year and in the first six months of this year, indicates substantial potential for cooperation. We surpassed the $4 billion mark last year, and (during today’s meetings – ed.) we shared our opinions that this is certainly not the limit,” Aliyev remarked.
