Baku: Azerbaijan sent the first humanitarian aid to Iran in the early days, Iran's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou, told journalists, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the diplomat emphasized the shared cultural ties between the two nations, highlighting the mutual support extended during challenging times. This gesture underscores the longstanding relationship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran.

Demirchilou also expressed gratitude towards Russia for its role in providing humanitarian aid and extended thanks to Azerbaijan for its assistance in facilitating the delivery of the aid.
