Baku: The construction of the 100-megawatt Gobustan solar power plant will officially start in the near future, said Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lu Mei at today’s briefing, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the production of electric buses will begin in Azerbaijan in the near future. The construction of the 240-MW Khizi-Absheron wind power plant, which is the largest wind energy project in Azerbaijan, is being successfully implemented. A Chinese company is also participating in its construction. After the auction invested by China, the construction of Azerbaijan’s first renewable energy project – the 100-megawatt Gobustan Solar Power Plant – will officially begin in the near future. As a result of joint efforts, the production of electric buses in Azerbaijan is also expected to start in the near future.
