‘The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Italy in the food industry exceeded 35 %,’ said Claudio Taffuri, the Ambassador of Italy to Azerbaijan at a press conference on the activities of the Baku Office of the Italian Trade Agency planned for the spring-summer months of 2024, APA reports.

The diplomat noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy in the food industry is developing: ‘Our trade turnover with Azerbaijan in the food industry is exceeding 35 %. This is a good thing, it shows the effectiveness of our work, that the local population loves our culture.’

He added that in May and June representatives of up to 15 companies from Italy will come to Azerbaijan in May and June, whom will be representatives of the food and beverage industry.
