Baku:Disciplinary proceedings for private forensic experts are set to be introduced as part of legislative changes.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the amendment to the Law 'On Forensic Examination Activities' was submitted for discussion at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Legal Policy and State Building.

The proposed changes stipulate that individuals not registered as forensic experts are prohibited from using the term 'forensic expert' to describe themselves. Additionally, these individuals cannot use the term 'forensic examination' in their organization's name. Violation of these regulations will result in legal liability.
