According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Joo Cancelo scored in the 38th minute and Gon§alo Ramos added another goal in the 79th minute for Portugal. Norway's Christopher Ajer netted a goal in the 36th minute. The match saw Portugal's Francisco Concei§o receive a red card in the 86th minute.

Portugal now leads Group 4 with 12 points, securing their place in the quarterfinals. Norway remains in fourth place with three points, while Denmark holds second place with six points, and Wales is in third with three points. Portugal is set to play Denmark at home on November 14, and Norway will host Wales on the same day.

In a separate match from Group 2 of the elite division, the Netherlands defeated Serbia 2-1. Greece and Germany ended their match in a goalless draw. The Netherlands and Greece both have eight points, with Germany at five points, and Serbia yet to score any points.
