Baku: Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, recently hosted a delegation led by Rothna Buth, Executive Director of the Regional Mine Action Center of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ARMAC), to discuss potential areas of collaboration.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions centered around the current status and future prospects of cooperation between ANAMA and ARMAC, particularly in the field of humanitarian demining. Both parties emphasized the importance of sharing experiences and knowledge to enhance international cooperation in mine action.

The meeting also provided a platform to address shared concerns related to humanitarian demining, underscoring the commitment of both organizations to advance their collaborative efforts for greater impact in mine-affected regions.
