Baku: On behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan, the President extended sincere congratulations to President Peter Pellegrini and the people of Slovakia on the occasion of their national holiday, Constitution Day. The message highlighted the solid relationship between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, emphasizing mutual respect, trust, and constructive dialogue.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the letter from the Azerbaijani President expressed satisfaction with the recent development in political dialogue, increased high-level visits, and expanded cooperation between the two countries. The communication underscored the growth of bilateral relations, particularly in economic, trade, energy, and military-technical fields.

The Azerbaijani President fondly recalled President Pellegrini's visit to Azerbaijan in July, which included a joint visit to the Garabagh region. He appreciated Slovakia's participation in the restoration of Azerbaijan's liberated territories, seeing it as a testament to their friendship and strategic partnership.

The message conveyed confidence in the continued expansion of traditional ties of friendship and bilateral and multilateral interaction between Azerbaijan and Slovakia. It expressed hope that joint efforts would further strengthen the strategic partnership, aligning with the interests of both nations' peoples.
