Baku: Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev described the participation of 27 heads of state and government at the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) as a historic milestone. During the closing ceremony, Guliyev emphasized the significance of this inaugural leaders' summit.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Guliyev acknowledged that the event's success was largely attributed to the initiative of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
