Baku: A 'Mother Tongue' award will be established for linguists and media representatives, APA reports. The initiative was proposed by Professor Gulu Maharramli and has received approval from ANAS President Isa Habibbeyli. The award is set to be presented on February 21.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Isa Habibbeyli announced that ANAS will be responsible for establishing the Mother Tongue award for linguists, while the Press Council will manage the award for media representatives. The initiative includes the organization of the 'Mother Tongue' Olympiads, with the awards scheduled to be distributed on February 21.
