Baku: Information has been released on demining operations carried out in the liberated territories between August 10, 2026, and August 16, 2026, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the agency reported that 107 anti-personnel mines, 25 anti-tank mines, and 614 items of unexploded ordnance (UXO) were detected in the liberated areas during the past week.

A total of 1,700.4 hectares of land were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance. The continued demining efforts are part of ongoing operations to ensure the safety and rehabilitation of these regions following their liberation.
