Baku: Today, another eight grain-loaded railcars will be sent to Armenia in transit through the territory of Azerbaijan. The total weight of the grain being shipped is 560 tons.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a cumulative total of 20,660 tons of grain, including today's shipment, has been sent from Russia to Armenia via transit through Azerbaijan to date. The latest shipment follows a recent delivery on February 1, when 25 grain-loaded railcars weighing 1,746 tons arrived in Armenia after transiting through Azerbaijan.
Prior to these shipments, a significant volume of grain had already been transported. A total of 285 grain railcars, carrying nearly 19,900 tons, had been sent from Russia to Armenia, also passing through Azerbaijan. The ongoing shipments highlight the logistical collaboration between these nations to facilitate the movement of essential goods.
