Baku: Weekly (18.05.2026-24.05.2026) information on operations carried out by organizations involved in mine clearance activities in the liberated territories has been announced, ANAMA told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, 45 anti-personnel mines, 33 anti-tank mines, and 416 unexploded ordnance were discovered in various regions including Tartar, Aghdam, Aghdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankendi, Kalbajar, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan. The clearance operations also covered the liberated villages of Baganis Ayrim, Ashagi Eskipara, Xeyrimli, and Gizilhajili in the Gazakh region.

It was reported that a total of 2,092 hectares of land were successfully cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, enhancing safety and paving the way for further development in these areas.
