Baku: Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) has signed a Protocol of Intent on Cooperation with China's Tongji University following a visit from a delegation led by Professor Li Xiangning, Vice President of Tongji University.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the visit aimed to explore opportunities for academic collaboration. Fariz Mammadov, AzTU's Vice-Rector for International Relations, welcomed the delegation and provided a presentation highlighting the university's ongoing academic work and engineering projects.

Professor Li Xiangning detailed the activities of Tongji University and emphasized the significance of expanding teaching and research cooperation between the two institutions. During the discussions, both sides identified specific areas for joint academic and research projects.

The visit concluded with the signing of a Protocol of Intent on Cooperation, marking the beginning of a new chapter in academic collaboration between AzTU and Tongji University.
