Baku: Developing technological cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel is a key area of the bilateral agenda, said Ariel Cohen, a leading expert at the Atlantic Council, in the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" program broadcast by AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the global economy is entering a new technological phase, where robotics, artificial intelligence, and other high-tech industries play a leading role. Israel occupies a leading position in these areas and is among the top two or three global technology centers, the expert emphasized.

Noting the importance of establishing and strengthening the UAE-Azerbaijan-Israel trilateral format, Cohen added that productive relations have already been established between all three countries, giving this triangle strategic significance both economically and geopolitically.

The expert also emphasized the significance of the Azerbaijan-Israel-U.S. format. He recalled that the U.S. has an agenda that includes repealing Section 907 of the Freedom Support Act. He stated that lifting restrictions could facilitate increased investment, trade, and exports to Azerbaijan, including the supply of modern weapons.

Cohen expressed his confidence that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar's visit to Baku would be successful.
