ASAN Award Presented to Iasi City’s Project in Romania

Bucharest: A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, recently visited Bucharest, Romania. The delegation’s visit included a significant moment of paying tribute by placing flowers at the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Tei Park.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani delegation participated in a forum on innovations in the public sector, organized by the Secretariat-General of the Romanian Government. During the event, Ulvi Mehdiyev addressed the participants, sharing insights on how innovations and modern technologies are enhancing the efficiency of public services. He also highlighted the efforts of “ASAN Khidmet” in this regard.

The forum showcased presentations on innovative solutions in Romania’s public services and included an award ceremony for selected projects. The Azerbaijani representatives recognized the pioneering achievements of the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ model in applying innovations and digital solutions in public service delivery by selecting one of the competition’s winning projects and presenting the winner with the ‘ASAN’ award.

The award was presented to the developers of a project implemented by the city of Iasi. The project team, along with the Iasi city administration, will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ model firsthand.
