ASAN Volunteers Discuss Urbanization and Public Services at WUF13

Baku: The 'ASAN Volunteers' Organization held a side event titled 'ASAN Model in Urbanization: The Role of Public Services and Volunteerism' during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13). The event focused on the integration of innovative public services and volunteerism in the urbanization process.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the panel discussion highlighted several key areas, including the use of digital solutions in urbanization, youth involvement in volunteer activities, and the creation of an inclusive urban environment. Participants explored how these factors contribute to the development of accessible public services, the role of volunteerism in societal growth, and the broader social impact of the "ASAN Khidmet" model.

The session featured discussions on the "ASAN Appeal" information system, which supports infrastructure-oriented policies within the "ASAN Khidmet" ecosystem. This system aims to enhance accessibility and efficiency of public services during urbanization periods.

Following the panel discussion, an interactive session titled "Baku Architecture and Urban Planning in Azerbaijan" was held. Participants engaged in discussions about the architectural heritage of Baku, urban planning traditions, and contemporary projects in Azerbaijan's urban planning sector. Active participants received various gifts as a token of appreciation for their engagement.
