BAKU — The Asian Parliamentary Assembly observed a high voter turnout in the recent Azerbaijani parliamentary elections, reported Secretary General Mohammad Reza Majidi at a press briefing. The Assembly's involvement highlights the elections' significance and Azerbaijan's commitment to democratic processes.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the invitation from the Azerbaijani Parliament allowed the Assembly to witness the elections firsthand. The Central Election Committee was commended for its execution of the election process and for maintaining transparency and security. Majidi expressed gratitude towards the Azerbaijani government, parliament, and people for their cooperation and hospitality during the elections.
