Astara Resident Recruited into Russian Army Goes Missing at Front

Astara: A resident of Astara who went to Russia for work has been sent to the front line, APA's southern bureau reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Elvin Hasanov, born in 1991 and a resident of Mashkhan village of Astara district, went to Russia for work but was later recruited into the country's army under unclear circumstances and sent to the front line.

Elvin Hasanov's relatives report that he went missing in one of the first battles after being sent to the front. For the past three months, no information has been received about him.

Family members have appealed to the relevant authorities regarding his situation.
