Nakhchivan: Azerbaijan has allocated 9 million 566 thousand manats from the Reserve Fund of the President, as outlined in the state budget for 2026, to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. This funding aims to continue the restoration and conservation efforts at the Momine Khatun Mausoleum in Nakhchivan.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to facilitate this allocation. The order follows Clause 32 of Article 109 of the Azerbaijani Constitution, focusing on the comprehensive restoration and conservation of the mausoleum, a significant example of 12th-century Azerbaijani architecture.
The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan is tasked with ensuring the specified financing, while the Cabinet of Ministers must address any issues arising from this order.
