According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Australia expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's assistance during critical times, notably for aiding the evacuation of Australian citizens from Iran in 2025. The Governor-General assured her confidence in the continued prosperity of the friendly relations between the two nations in the upcoming year.
