Sydney: Australian writer and poet David Malouf has died, the official page of the Dublin Literary Award reports. The writer passed away at the age of 92.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Malouf became the first winner of the Dublin Literary Award in 1996 for his work "Remembering Babylon." His novel "Ransom" was also nominated for the award in 2011.
