Baku: The average monthly salary in Azerbaijan is projected to reach 1,170.8 manats in 2026, APA-Economics reports. This projection is part of the Ministry of Finance’s report titled “Preliminary indicators of the state and consolidated budgets of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026”.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this figure is expected to continue its upward trend, reaching 1,246.8 manats in 2027, 1,327.6 manats in 2028, and eventually surpassing 1,400 manats to hit 1,411.8 manats in 2029. These projections reflect a steady increase in the average monthly salary over the coming years.

It should be noted that in the period from January to July 2025, the average monthly nominal salary of employees working for wages in the country’s economy increased by 9.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, amounting to 1,098.1 manats. This increase highlights the ongoing growth in wages within the Azerbaijani economy.
