Doha:A delegation from AZCON Holding, led by Executive Director Shahin Babayev, has engaged in strategic discussions with a Kazakh delegation headed by Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Board of the 'Samruk-Kazyna' Sovereign Wealth Fund.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting resulted in the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement. This agreement outlines key directions for developing the 'Caspian Bridge' Trans-Caspian ferry system and includes a term sheet that establishes the core principles for constructing an intermodal cargo terminal at the Baku International Sea Trade Port.

The discussions also included an exchange of experiences in corporate governance and coordination between portfolio companies. Additionally, cooperation opportunities on the Middle Corridor, dredging works, and marine infrastructure projects were explored.
