Baku: Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, recently met with Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, who is currently on a working visit to Azerbaijan. During the meeting, discussions centered around the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, particularly focusing on joint efforts in dredging operations at ports in both Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting culminated in the signing of a shareholders' agreement between AZCON Holding and Samruk-Kazyna Invest LLP, the investment arm of Samruk-Kazyna JSC. This agreement marks the establishment of a joint venture specifically aimed at acquiring a dredging vessel and executing dredging operations. The collaboration underscores the commitment of both entities to enhance maritime infrastructure and operations, which are vital for the economic growth and connectivity of the region.
