Baku: The positions of counselors on educational issues at the Azerbaijani embassies in the Federal Republic of Germany and France have been abolished.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this change was incorporated through an amendment to the Order ‘On the Establishment of the Position of Counselor on Educational Issues at Some Embassies of the Republic of Azerbaijan,’ issued by President Ilham Aliyev.
The amendment reflects Azerbaijan’s decision to eliminate these specific diplomatic roles, which were initially established to address educational matters in the respective countries. The decision marks a shift in the country’s approach towards managing educational diplomacy and may impact how educational issues are addressed at these embassies moving forward.
