Amsterdam: At the close of trading the previous day, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas in Europe dropped below 375 US dollars, APA-Economics reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, on April 28, the price of May futures based on the TTF (Title Transfer Facility of the Netherlands, Europe’s most liquid virtual trading hub) index stood at $374.1. This represents a 1.7% decrease compared to the previous settlement price of $380.8.
Since December 31, 2020, Azerbaijani gas has been transported to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), contributing to the supply of gas in the region.
