Azerbaijan Achieves Record Agricultural Export Levels in 2025

Baku: Azerbaijan exported a record volume of agricultural products to the global market in 2025, reaching approximately 914,000 tons of crop products. This milestone was announced by Goshgar Tahmazli, Chairman of the Food Safety Agency, during the opening ceremony of Caspian Agro Week at the Baku Expo Center.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijan's agricultural and food products are now being exported to 73 countries. Tahmazli highlighted the necessity of adhering to international standards in food safety to boost the agricultural and food industry sectors. He emphasized the importance of quality indicators that meet global market requirements and pointed out the critical issue of ensuring animal health.

Tahmazli further elaborated on Azerbaijan's achievements in obtaining a disease-free status for avian influenza and Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR), which has facilitated the export of related products to several countries. The country's poultry industry, including the export of breeding and table eggs, has already seen success in various international markets.
