Baku: Azerbaijan has introduced a new tax benefit for the families of deminers who lost their lives during demining operations. This initiative, which is part of an amendment to the Tax Code, was approved by President Ilham Aliyev, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the amendment specifies that the monthly taxable income for the parents, widows (widowers), and children of deminers who died as a result of accidents caused by the detonation of explosive ordnance, or from injuries sustained during such incidents, will see a reduction by 400 manats. This measure aims to provide financial relief to the bereaved families of those who risked their lives in demining efforts.
