Aghdam: Azerbaijan is furthering its commitment to education and employment in the Aghdam region, as detailed by Tural Khatamkhanov, Head of the General Department of the Construction and Supply Department of the Ministry of Science and Education, during the Caspian Construction Week.
According to Trend News Agency, Khatamkhanov revealed plans for significant educational infrastructure developments, including the design of a new building for Secondary School No. 2 in Aghdam City, which will accommodate 960 pupils. The ongoing projects also feature the development of Aghdam’s No. 1 nursery kindergarten and the construction of schools in the villages of Sarijali, Kengerli, and Khidirli.
In addition to educational facilities, the region is focusing on enhancing employment opportunities. “The issue of continuous employment is important. Negotiations with employers and large companies are underway in this regard,” Khatamkhanov stated. Furthermore, a vocational education center is set to be established in Aghdam,
with its design and estimate documentation expected to be completed by year-end.
The Caspian Construction Week, held at the Baku Expo Center from October 15 through 17, serves as a pivotal event in the construction sector of the region. The event has gathered over 380 companies from 22 countries, providing a platform for collaboration and development in various construction domains.
