According to Trend News Agency, Gafarova asserted, "We take pride in our country's position. Azerbaijan's role as a dependable partner is demonstrated in our bilateral relationships with various nations and our contributions to addressing global challenges that concern the world." Among the initiatives underscoring Azerbaijan's commitment, Gafarova cited the hosting of the upcoming COP29 as a significant example of Azerbaijan's active role in global discussions. During her address, Gafarova also stressed the importance of Azerbaijan's sovereignty in both do mestic and foreign policy. She quoted President Ilham Aliyev, emphasizing the country's autonomy in decision-making: "No one can dictate to us or interfere in our internal affairs. We will do what we deem necessary."
