The event focused on expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and African countries, with particular emphasis on partnerships in public services, education, and agriculture.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions were attended by ambassadors of African countries accredited to Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani ambassadors to African countries. The significance of technology and innovation in addressing climate change and enhancing agricultural practices was underscored. The speakers emphasized the potential for expanded cooperation between Azerbaijan and African nations in these areas.
The panel highlighted the strengthening of educational ties, noting that an increasing number of African students are pursuing studies in Azerbaijan, particularly in fields such as medicine and ICT. Additionally, the successful implementation of Azerbaijan's ASAN Service model in Uganda was cited as a positive development, demonstrating the benefits of providing public services through a centralized system.
The discussion also pointed out Azerbaijan's growing diplomatic engagement in Africa, with the possibility of more African nations establishing embassies in Baku.
