Turkmenbashi:President Ilham Aliyev has announced Azerbaijan's medium-term goal to increase cargo transportation.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev outlined plans to enhance cargo volume along both the East-West and North-South routes, targeting 15 million tons for each route.

He made this statement during his address at the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Turkmenbashi.
