Azerbaijan Air Force Conducts Training Flights with Helicopter Units


BAKU: Azerbaijan’s Air Force has conducted a series of training flights with its helicopter units as part of the 2024 training plan, focusing on enhancing combat readiness and practical skills.

According to Trend News Agency, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported that the training involved comprehensive assessments of the pilots’ theoretical knowledge concerning flight conditions and safety regulations. Following these evaluations, pilots performed control inspections of the helicopters before commencing their missions.

The training flights were executed from base airfields along designated routes, with pilots tasked with takeoff and landing exercises, aerial reconnaissance, and the detection of air and ground targets. The exercises also included establishing communication with command headquarters and other operational activities. The Ministry of Defense noted the high level of professionalism displayed by the pilots throughout the training, which is aimed at bolstering their combat training and
practical skills.
